Roberto Coin: The Rise to Elegance

There can be no doubt that reputation is the only importance within the realm of fashion. Diamonds must be more than brilliant; they must also be respected. And, Roberto Coin embodies such respect. His designs offer far beyond the common trends. With sleek lines and challenging stones, each piece is a mastery. His name assures; his jewels appeal; and the world seeks his style.

That was not always intended, however. The Roberto Coin brand began in 1977 in Vicenza, Italy. This northern province, steeped in its own rich traditions and beauty, was a fitting setting for the designs to come. Its cosmopolitan atmosphere was held within ancient stone. The past blurred to the present and the tangle offered inspiration. But such inspiration was to be delayed. The original purpose of the company was to service other jewelers, offering assistance and ideas. It did not stand apart. It instead hid, but not for long.

Roberto Coin: Expansion and Expression

While heralded in Italy as innovative, the brand was often overshadowed by its international competitors. It was a local treasure and nothing more. Few understood its potential and fewer still were willing to try. But, after two painstaking decades of aiding others and receiving little credit, a new line was created: the Roberto Coin collection. No longer content to remain anonymous, the bold jewels and seductive designs were offered to the world and were quickly accepted.

Within a mere four years, the collection had become one of the most popular of its kind. It no longer simply dominated Italy. It instead challenged others across the globe, claiming its rightful place among them. Countless craved the signature use of rubies and bright patterns. Since then, Roberto Coin has become synonymous with grace and it will most likely continue to do so for the years to come.
