Vans For Disabled

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I first heard about NMEDA, I was in awe. NMEDA stands for National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association. This is a non profit association that advocates providing safe vehicles, reliable vehicles and vehicle enhancement for disabled people. They offer education to people about buying products from a dealer that is a qualified NMEDA dealer. They do not sell anything, their members are the one who sell vans and vehicles specially designed for people with disability.

The only experience I had with a handicapped was with my grandfather. He was paralyzed and it was hard for him to travel. My grandmother was the one who took care of him and I know sometimes my grand mom wants to go out and enjoy life. Back then, we are not aware of vehicles that are designed for disabled people, if we had, it would have very helpful for my grandfather and specially my grandmother. They can go out and travel together without the hassle or worry of carrying my grandfather to load him to the vehicle. For sure, if we had known about this kind of vehicle, an NMEDA qualified dealer could have been very helpful to us in finding the right one for my grand father. And for some, an NMEDA qualified dealer can get them back to road of independence.

NMEDA has dealers as mentioned above, aside from that, they also have Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers. QAP is a program that believes and lived by the principle that in order to give a consistent costumer satisfaction, companies should have a well documented and very systematic approach to quality.
