I know my birthday was two weeks ago but hey it is still worth the space here in my blog. Last February 1, I turned 29, I want to say 24, but sadly, I am nearing the dreaded 3 (ohh I want to be 24 forever). My life was very blessed, having 3 boys and one pretty angel, what more could I ask for? (OK I really want a house and lot, a big car and a mac LOL). Seriously, material things aside, I am very happy and contented with my life. There are just simple things that I still want to experience, like playing poker or bungee jumping. But since I can't do high risk activities, I'd stick with gaming (who knows, I might win and be able to buy me big car).
So what is my birthday gift to me? Health. Finally after so many sleepless nights of pain, I braved going to the dentist and have my root canal. It was like, freedom! from all the pain and all the pain reliever I had to take. There is still a lot fixing needed to be done on my teeth. I still have to undergo tooth (teeth actually) extraction, pasta filling and need to have a new set of dentures. It was very liberating to finally face my fear and go to the dentist. I knew most of youc an relate to that, it's just so hard to cit on the dental chair.
Aside from a trip to the dentist, I also got myself a new pair of eyeglasses. My little girl just made a toy out of my old eyeglasses, though it can be repaired, I opted for a new one. I knew my eyes needed a new lens. And so after a week of contemplating, I got new a pair and now my eyes are thanking me for it. I spend more than I should do, but I guess sometimes, it is OK to buy something for yourself.
