Pump Happiness

Two weekends ago, we went home to my province. The fresh air of the province and the warmth atmosphere brings me back to my childhood days. I remember when I was still a kid, we have a pump in my grandmother's house. Although we already have a good water supply, not as good as the great San Diego plumber though, my grandmother still uses the pump then. I have a love/hate relationship with the pump. I enjoyed using it when we are taking a bath, yes back then, we take a bath outside the house. The water that would suddenly burst out of the pump feels like a shower, and yes we don't have a shower back then. Just know, while writing this, I can almost hear our giggles while playing with the pump. One of our pump can release water in projected motion. That was really cool, it seems like you own a water gun, only bigger. My sister would always be my unwilling victim when I play gun with our pump.


When we visited a farm and I saw a pump int here, I take the opportunity and took a shot of my son using it. I want to share with them the hardships and fun a pump can bring.
