How To Start A Blog

I have been blogging for almost two years now. I have met a lot of people and also a lot of online gigs. When people asked me how I earn from being online all day, I find it hard to explain to them. It is easy to say that I earn but when they start to ask how, I am lost for words. Not exactly lost but find it hard to use words that non bloggers will understand. When I tell about hosting and where to avail of unlimited web hosting, they just cannot relate to what I am saying. But I am always willing to help and teach people how to earn online.

That is another reason why I have my tech blog aka help blog. As much as possible, I document there my struggles as a blogger. I also put there my tips and techniques on how to start blogging and how to earn from it. Other than that, I also share to my readers my payment proof, so they would know that I am not just blabbing. In a few more days to come, I might release a very comprehensive version on How one can start to blog with a bonus post on how a blogger can monetize their blog.

Sharing Is Fun

I have been asking my hubby to make a simple template for me. I want him to make templates that are easy to tweak. I really like tweaking templates. I would download template files ad change the colors or headers. Like the one I use here. The original header of this template is not like that. I tweaked to suit my taste and my blog needs. I really hope hubby can make a good one soon. I am excited to share my template designs using Rapidshare Search Engine. I knew a lot of people use rapidshare. In fact most of free templates I had, I used rapidshare to download it.

When I am done making templates (or tweaking ones that hubby created). I will share it all to you guys. My hands are itching right now.

I am a mother and I give birth and I knew how it was. I am a mother and I have kids and I knew how it was. Seeing the photos below and I just could not keep mum about it. And though I can't hit the donate button yet, I can help spread the word.

Fabella Hospital is a maternity hospital in Sta Cruz Manila. I have never been there but I am exposed to hearsays and first hand experiences from my friends in medical field. It was depressing.. (and let the photos speak for itself). Now at least I can do something about it. In the near future I plan to launch a campaign for this/ reach out existing campaigns. This blog being a parenting blog should be utilized in this kind of cause.

I know a lot of you have been waiitng for this post.. sorry if I kept you waiting.. I am doing some stuffs for my blog and for my new domain..and as you know, it's hard to leave your old url behind, numbers are something that I can't just let go.. and who can? alexa rankings, PageRank, link backs.. and so on, and so I decided that instead of transferring this blog to my own domain, why not just maintain this and instead transfer my articles (that is mommy related) to my won domain, that one will be the new house of make or break.. (I hope it's up by August) and this pehpot.blogspot.com will soon be your source of entrainment.. I mean a site that will be devoted to showbiz and the likes. Video Making

I spend the day yesterday creating a video for my Goldilocks entry. Some may think of me, crazy and doing a lot of effort for that promo. To tell you honestly, I almost kick myself for putting myself in to that kind of stress. I was frustrated and angry at times because I can't figure out time line and the likes. It sounds crazy but then I realized that I actually learned. I learned how to make a video which I can use in the near future.

We can have our very own Chrysler and have a video of my kids cleaning it. I can add a lot of effects for the video. That would be fun for my kids specially when they grow up and saw their car washing video. OK, I am not saying I am already an expert but my talents will do for my kid's viewing pleasure.

If ever I would venture into car selling, I think I can even make a short video of Ford f 150.I can use the images found on the Internet and make a video presentation of the car's feature's. I never thought that movie making can be so useful. I never thought that I can actually learn how to make one and I am enjoying it.

One of the cars I would love to make a video is Kia soul. This kind of car is perfect for me. It is roomy and the styling is cool. The car is perfect for an easy go lucky person like me. Another car that is worth my time is Chevy impala. It is perfect for my hubby. It is professional looking and nicely styled.He would look good driving this kind of car and I can make a video of him driving one.

Am I sounding like a mad video maker? Really? Oh, I think I'll be addicted to video making.

Blog Review: Intekhab Online

Intekhab Online is a blog maintained by Intekhab, hence the title. When I first encountered this technical blog, I was curious why Intekhab and so I learned from his about me page that it is part of the author's name. I guess he comes from other country, but that did not stop from looking around his blog, I like cultural diversity. I like meeting new people from different places and different culture.

The blog talks about a lot of things but it is mainly focused on graphics tutorial, well he is a graphic designer. You can see that in his post that he is good on his field. He gives out adobe photoshop tutorial, anything about graphics. He also write trivial things like his experiment with spam comments. He also likes making blog reviews, juts like me. As he calls it one of his favorite section of his blog.

Tutorials aside, you can also read articles form his blog that talks about the latest traffic builders. Any bloggers can benefit from that article. He talks about great sites that can help you boost traffic as easy as pie, real traffic, that would stay for at least ten seconds in your site.

Technically speaking, his blog has a good lay out, nice color. It is very apt on his topics. It is very easy to navigate around because of all the helpful menus on the sidebar and on the header. The site loads fast even though it has a lot of image on it.

The Sexy BumbleBee

I saw a Bumble Bee, a sexy one, and it's not Bumble Bee of Transformers, it's the author of Bumble Blog. OK, since I so love Honey now a days, I think I will love her blog. And not only that, her sunflower header is eye catching. It really shows that she is indeed a Bumble Bee.


This girl is so adorable and has a light and fun outlook in life. It is very obvious on her header:

She shows a lot about her on Bumble Blog. She is so cute on that Bumble Bee costume, and as she said, that's where she got the name, sexy bumblebee.

It was my first time to look around her blog but I think I like her already. We share the same beliefs hen it comes to family. She also reminds me of my best pal who love kitties just like her.

And lastly, we both share the same hobby of taking pictures of ourselves while on the car or on just anywhere else, as long as there is a camera.lol

Thoughts And Obsessions of Mys

I really love blog hopping, as I have said before I love reading about you. Of course with so many blogs out here, there is always a chance to meet bloggers that are somehow similar to you. But the when you chanced upon it, you are still delighted and amazed by how alike you are.. and in so many ways. Imagine my delight when I saw Mys' Thoughts and Obsessions.


The first thing that caught my eye was her profile description, we share the same belief. I told her that I liked her already because of that. If you are curious enough, by no, you already know what's on my profile description, now compare it to hers:

see? We both think that word are not enough to describe our personalities. lol. It's a mixture of laughs, antics, mishaps and misfortunes and a lot more.. That is very obvious on how creative she wrote. There is one post about her friends which turns out to be more than that. It was more like a personal post rather than what it should be.

We also share the same passion, motherhood, we're both Mommy Moments participant no. Her worries about her kid's first day at school is the same as mine. You can see from her post that she is very proud of her kid's achievements and is indeed a great mom with great techniques on rearing her kids.

She is a good mom and a creative writer, what more? She also likes to travel. I envy her recent trip at Labrador, Pangasinan. My mom is boasting about that place and when I saw it on her blog I turned green.lol.

I already said a lot about the author, now let's be more technical. Aside from the contents of her blog, one of the things you will notice is her cute background paper, yes, the blue one, and her clean lay out. Her lay out is like mine, a 3 column type of template but hers look a lot cleaner and friendly to the eye. If there is one problem I can see, that the links I can't see. The color of the links I already visited and the archive link is not that visible.. er.. a bit hurtful to the eye so I hope she can change it soon.. (ay demanding hehe)
